    Across the collection, 16 coordinating colours move from coral, blush and soft red through warm gold, ochre and earthy brown, balanced by creamy neutrals, fresh greens, sage and deeper blue-green. The tiny repeating motif gives each colour the appearance of woven texture without competing with the rest of a quilt design.

    That makes Garland particularly useful for patchwork where colour, value and contrast are doing the work. Use the collection on its own for a quilt with a cohesive, textural feel, or mix individual shades with florals, geometrics and other patterned fabrics when you need something with more character than a plain solid.

    Four Ways to Explore the Garland Palette

    At Morris Works, Garland is available in a choice of manufacturer-cut precuts, so you can choose the format that best suits the project you have in mind.

    The 2.5" strip roll contains 40 width-of-fabric strips, ready for strip piecing, log cabins and precut-friendly quilt patterns. The 5" charm pack and 10" square pack each contain 42 pieces, giving you plenty of scope for everything from simple patchwork and half-square triangles to larger-scale blocks.

    Or, if you'd rather have the complete collection at your fingertips, choose the 16-piece full collection fat quarter bundle, with one manufacturer-cut fat quarter of every Garland fabric, each measuring approximately 18" x 22".

    Whether you use Garland as the starting point for an entire quilt or as a useful library of textured colour, it’s a collection designed to play very nicely with others.
