    • Nightfall Pre Cuts

    Nightfall Promotional image for the collectionNightfall by Andover Fabrics takes a familiar autumn palette and gives it a wonderfully dramatic twist. Burnt orange, warm cream and soft ivory meet charcoal grey and deep black, creating a collection with striking contrast and plenty of character.

    Look closer and the prints reveal an eclectic mix of details. Crescent moons drift amongst tiny flowers, ornate paisleys bring a more decorative note, while geometric motifs, dots and fine linear designs add useful smaller-scale patterns. Orange moves throughout the collection, sometimes bold and saturated against black and elsewhere softened against cream and pale grey.

    There is certainly a hint of Halloween here, but Nightfall isn't limited to spooky-season sewing. The combination of warm autumn colour, celestial motifs and strong light-to-dark contrast makes it equally at home in contemporary quilts, seasonal patchwork, bags, cushions and projects where you want a palette with a little more drama.

    Nightfall Precuts

    We've chosen two Andover precuts from the Nightfall collection, giving you two very different ways to work with the range. The 2.5" strip roll contains 40 pre-cut width-of-fabric strips, ready for strip piecing, log cabins, borders and precut-friendly quilt patterns. For smaller-scale patchwork, the 5" charm pack contains 42 pre-cut squares, bringing together the collection's oranges, blacks, greys and creams in one coordinated pack. Both are made from 100% cotton quilting fabric and professionally cut by Andover Fabrics.
