    Characterful 100% Cotton Quilting Fabrics from New Zealand

    Nutex has been inspiring creativity with fabric since 1982. Founded in New Zealand, this second-generation family business has grown to become the country’s largest supplier of patchwork and quilting fabrics, with Nutex designs now finding their way into sewing rooms around the world.

     

    One of the things we particularly enjoy about Nutex fabrics is their sense of character. Working with talented artists, Nutex develops its own original designs, with an especially strong collection of novelty and themed prints. From animals, birds and florals to seasonal designs and wonderfully specific subjects, these are often the fabrics you discover when you have something particular in mind and think, “I wonder if anyone makes a fabric with that on it?”

     

    Nutex Quilting Fabrics in the UK

    Nutex began supplying fabric to the UK in 2008, with Nutex UK established a few years later and stock held here in Britain. Their original novelty and themed fabrics are printed on premium 100% cotton, making them well suited to patchwork, quilting and all sorts of creative sewing.

     

    Alongside their playful novelty prints, Nutex also produces useful coordinates and basics, including ginghams, spots, stripes, tone-on-tones and other designs that work beautifully alongside a feature fabric.
