Scrim-Free Bamboo Blend Wadding with a Higher Loft
Matilda's Own 70/30 Bamboo & Polyester Wadding combines 70% bamboo-derived fibre with 30% polyester in a beautifully soft, scrim-free wadding with a higher loft than the 100% Bamboo and Bamboo/Cotton options. This pre-cut baby-size wadding measures 48" x 60" (122cm x 152cm), making it ideal for smaller projects including cot quilts, lap quilts and small throws. A beautifully soft choice for quilts created for new babies.
With no scrim, glues or other binders, there is less resistance as you stitch, allowing the needle to glide smoothly through the fine, even wadding. It is suitable for both hand and machine quilting and is a particularly lovely choice for quilters who prefer the soft feel and flexibility of a scrim-free wadding.
The addition of polyester gives this blend increased loft, creating a little more lift and dimension in the finished quilt while retaining the softness and beautiful drape associated with bamboo wadding. This makes it a good choice when you want a fuller quilted appearance without excessive bulk.

- Shrinkage: 2.5%
- Maximum Stitch Distance: 8" (20 cm)
